Crescent Textile Solutions is a family-owned U.S. manufacturer of yarn, roving, batting, and knitted fabric. Located in Two Rivers, Wisconsin on the western shore of Lake Michigan, Crescent has provided the best natural and synthetic yarns to the textile industry for over 100 years. Our new name reflects the history and craftsmanship of Crescent Woolen Mills combined with the fabric expertise of Owen Glove Lining; together, we are now Crescent Textile Solutions!

Our quest for both traditional and cutting edge textiles starts with a wide range of natural and synthetic fibers, including wool, alpaca, angora, nylon, acrylic, polyester, Nomex®, Kevlar®, and Kanecaron® modacrylic. We convert these fibers into yarns via the woolen spun system, which includes blending, carding, spinning, winding, doubling, and twisting steps.
Throughout the process, we produce roving that is sold for spinning, felting, or composite manufacturing operations. We also produce batting for large-scale industrial applications requiring thermal insulation or cushioning. In addition, we use some of the yarn that we produce ourselves to manufacture specialty knitted fabrics for the safety, apparel, and sporting goods markets.
